Hara Kyriazi is a Greek dance teacher, performer and lecturer whose work bridges performance, pedagogy and research. Based between Greece and the UK, she successfully established herself in Oxford, where she built a thriving dance community during ten beautiful and successful years of teaching — a community that continues to flourish today. She now travels to the UK multiple times per year to continue teaching and nurturing this artistic network she helped create.
Hara graduated as a dance teacher and dancer from Niki’s Kontaxaki – Nikoletta’s Bakali Higher Professional Dance School in 2012. She also holds a degree in Archaeology and History of Art from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2014), reflecting her deep interest in the body as both cultural and historical narrative.
Since 2012, she has taught full-time across Greece and the UK while performing with companies including Traverso, Nu Wave, Justice in Motion and Thomas Page Dances. Throughout her career, she has participated in intensive workshops with internationally recognised artists and organisations such as Matthew Bourne, Tavaziva Dance, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Zoi Dimitriou, Renate Graziadei, Athanasia Kanellopoulou, Ted Stoffer, Nancy Nerantzi, Sayaka Ichikawa, Tommaso Petrolo, Georgia Tegou, among others.
Establishing independent classes
A regular teacher at East Oxford School of Ballet, Hara began developing her own independent programme in Oxford in 2020, cultivating not just technically strong dancers but a committed and supportive artistic community grounded in consistency, excellence and care.
Professional Development
She is a Co-Founder of Pro Dance Oxford, an initiative dedicated to high-quality dance training and professional development.
She is also a certified Progressive Ballet Technique teacher and a certified Rambert Grades teacher.
Academic Work
In 2024, she completed her MA for Professional Practitioners with Distinction at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance (2022–2024).
Her research project, "Performing (M)otherhood: Excavating Identity and the Role of Neuroscience in Performance Preparation," explored the transformation of identity through motherhood, examining embodiment, habitus and the neurological dimensions of performance preparation.
Shaping the Future
In 2025, she further expanded her academic profile by working as a Lecturer at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, teaching Dance History and contributing to conservatoire-level training within one of the UK's leading dance institutions.
Her work continues to sit at the intersection of performance, education and lived experience — driven by artistic integrity, intellectual curiosity and a deep commitment to community building.
What Drives Us

Passion for dance is about more than movement—it’s about connection, expression, and enjoying every moment on the floor. Our approach is centered on creating a rewarding experience that inspires confidence and creativity, welcoming individuals of all backgrounds and skill levels. We believe in building an inclusive environment where everyone feels supported, valued, and free to explore their unique style. Through rhythm and shared energy, we foster a strong sense of community, bringing people together through the joy of dance.
An inclusive community is at the heart of everything we do, where every individual is welcomed, respected, and encouraged to be themselves. We believe dance should be accessible to all, regardless of age, background, or experience, creating a space where diversity is celebrated and connections are built naturally. By supporting one another and sharing a love for movement, we cultivate an environment where everyone can grow in confidence, feel a sense of belonging, and truly enjoy every moment together.
